Acclaimed comedian and master of fast wit Trevor Lock (Comedy Central, BBCTV, Channel 4) invites audiences to join him for a collaborative experiment to find out if reality is real. It’s a masterclass in comedy without any jokes. The content of the show is created by audience members who are given a notepad and pen to write down what is happening as they see it.

Trevor Lock says “This show was created by accident but in hindsight, standing front of seventy people every day for three weeks and only hearing my voice repeating the same lines felt like a missed opportunity. This show is the most live a show could be - all the best lines are written by the audience. Every show is different, each one surprises me, and I don’t know how I can ever go back to conventional stand up again. All the world’s a stage, life is but a dream, and you are reading this now but who are you?”
Trevor Lock first went on TV with Lee and Herring in TMWRNJ and on radio with BBC Radio 4. He has toured as a live comic with Stewart Lee and starred in all three series of Channel 4’s British Comedy Award winning, BAFTA nominated Star Stories. Lock has written five stage plays, two of which were adapted for BBC Radio 4. He has addressed the Oxford Union on the meaning of life and led workshops on happiness and creativity from Rio to Tokyo and currently heads up a mindfulness based workshop called Reality Games. True stories, one-liners, flights of fancy and plausible theories, all went into his stream of consciousness freestyle stand up. The Scotsman once described him as ‘Funny, moving and clever.’ TimeOut, simply as ‘hilarious’ and culture website Spoonfed thought he could ‘probably win an award for the most laughs in a minute.’ The Sunday Times wrote of the ‘superbly comic writing’ of his plays on the Edinburgh Fringe.
