Oscura Presents:Trevor Bystrom Band - An Independent Artist. Born and raised in Holmes Beach, a small barrier island south of Tampa Bay, Bystrom developed a passion for world music at an early age, falling in love first with the sounds of the Caribbean and later immersing himself in the work of a wide array of African artists. At sixteen, he began performing live and writing his own songs. Over the past decade Trevor played 1000’s of shows, and 100’s of Festival. Most recent collaboration Album “Mawanga & Bystrom” fuses American and Malawian culture into an adventurous, inventive, and deeply moving testament to our shared humanity.
Chakulla - A multi instrumentalist Singer Songwriter who was greatly affected by the recent hurricanes. Chakullas mission is to Inspire, Raise Funds, Non-perishable Food Items and Hunger Awareness, working towards Ending Hunger through Musical Performance, Staging Concerts and Events to Benefit Food Banks, Pantries and other Non-profit Agencies. Nora Bear - An 11 year old "old soul" Singer Songwriter singing Americana, folk, and pop. Nora Bear is new to the music scene and already performing for festivals. Her songwriting skills and witty stage presence is un heard of in someone so young.
