This in-person training covers everything from the OSHA definition of a competent person to the practical setup of a trench shoring box. Participants will engage in a hands-on confined space rescue simulation using MPUA's specialized training trailer, designed to replicate real-world emergency conditions. This course provides essential experience for crews working in or around trenches and confined spaces. This in-person training will be held at the Independence Power & Light Basement Facility, 21500 E Truman Road, Independence, MO 64056. This training is funded by the Workforce Training Grant from the Missouri Department of Economic Development (DED). September 23 – deadline to register: September 9
