What pairs best with a cup of the finest locally roasted coffee in town? Well, a bike ride, of course!
Join us at Open Eye Cafe every 1st & 3rd Sunday from April to October for a 1.5-2 hour ride through Orange County's beautiful rolling hills. We will have a pace group for most everyone, so even if this is your first group ride, come! We promise we won't let you get lost. Still not sure you can keep up? Ride 13-15 miles by yourself, and if it took you an hour or less, you're ready!
Meet underneath the 30-foot-tall bike on the side of Open Eye Cafe where you'll also find a service stand and pump, should you need them. Wheels will start to roll at 9am, so be sure to show up a couple minutes early to get acquainted with the group and touch base with your ride leader, if this is your first time joining us. If you plan to drive to the ride start, please be respectful of our hosts and park in the nearby municipal lot about 100 yards away, not in the small handful of spaces immediately outside of Open Eye Cafe. If that lot fills up, there are several others nearby to choose from.
Routes and ride leaders will change each time, so join the Trek Ride Club on Strava to see all the updates. Helmets are required, lights and a flat kit are very strongly encouraged. Oh, and don't forget to stick around post-ride for the best part – coffee!
