Laraine’s summer with her estranged father takes a wild turn when she and her new friends, Jermaine and Dominique, are abducted. What begins as a desperate escape spiral into a whirlwind of danger - bullies, graffiti vandalism, hitchhiking, and a terrifying animal chase. When they learn a friend is also missing, their search leads to risky choices, unexpected twists, someone in the hospital, and others in J*il. Through it all, it strengthens their bond and tests their resilience as they confront and overcome the many obstacles they face.
