Sitara Gare has worked as an arborist, horticulturalist, and urban forester for the past 20 years. She became certified with the International Society of Arborists in 2009 and is currently on the board of editors for the Urban and Community Forestry Association Magazine City Trees.
Sitara's passion is to bust the myths that we have about trees in Australia and to educate all on why at this time in our history we need to retain trees more than ever. This workshop is a wonderful combination of theory, group discussion and time spent outdoors where we can put the arboriculture principles into practice. Some botanical terminology will be used, perhaps some Latin and a tree pun or two.
Morning and Afternoon Tea will be provided.
