Hurricane season starts June 1st and Flamingo Gardens is pleased to announce a tree trimming class that will teach you how to protect your home and improve the health and longevity of trees on your property.Instructor, Michael Orfanedes serves as Commercial Horticulture Agent IV for UF/IFAS Broward County Extension in Davie, FL. He is responsible for coordinating educational outreach and CEU programs for Broward’s diverse nursery, landscape, and pest control industries. Mike has been an ISA-certified arborist for 22 years and directs the county’s tree trimmer licensing certification program.
