About this Event
Elmwood Cemetery is a Level II arboretum and home to almost 1,400 trees. Many of our trees are tagged, but there's so much more to know about a tree than its scientific and common name.
Some of the trees that live in Elmwood are older than the cemetery itself. They've lived through countless changes taking place around them, silently and majestically, surviving centuries. Elmwood's tree expert Amanda Zorn will show you a few of these and more during this special tree tour. Don't worry; she'll answer your history questions, too.
The cost for the tour is $20 per person. The tour takes place November 16th, will begin at 10:30 am, and lasts about 90 minutes. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
