We’re planting 420 new trees at Knowle Park, thanks to a generous donation of saplings from the Woodland Trust, and we’d love your help! Join us at 9.30am on Tuesday 18th November by Heartwork Coffee before we head to the western end of the park for a morning of planting.Please bring a spade and gloves, and dress for the weather. All instruction will be provided, so no experience is needed.
The saplings will form new shelter belts, which are vital for wildlife. They create shelter, nesting sites, and natural corridors that help birds, insects, and small mammals move safely between habitats. Hedges also store carbon, improve soil health, and protect against wind and erosion.
Come along, get your hands dirty, and help us make Knowle Park even wilder and greener for the future.
