Join us for live reindeer, treats, bonfires, carolers, a special visit from Santa, and the annual lighting of the holiday lights! Free and open to all.This year’s event will take place at the Chanhassen Recreation Center (2310 Coulter Blvd.) due to construction in the Civic Campus area. The Tree Lighting and Santa’s Workshop will return to City Center in 2026.
If you are able, please bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to help support Bountiful Basket Food Shelf.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony also kicks off the Tour of Lights! Make sure to check out all the creative light displays December 6-31.
