I hope you're well and ready to kick off the holiday season in style! We’re thrilled to invite you to The River’s annual Tree Lighting Celebration, presented by Spotlight 29 Casino, happening on Friday, December 6th, from 6pm to 8pm. This is our favorite time of year, and we can’t wait to share the festive spirit with the community! This is a FREE EVENT for the community.Our celebration is packed with holiday cheer and activities for everyone. The evening will feature guest speakers, including city officials, chamber leaders, and local business representatives, who’ll help us welcome the season. Highlights of the evening include:
Meet & Greet with Santa – Capture the holiday magic with Santa himself!
Live Music & Entertainment – Enjoy holiday tunes from DJ Tommy of Big 106 and performances by the talented SoCal Holiday Brass. Local community groups will also bring festive dances and holiday numbers to get everyone in the spirit!
Holiday Activities – Decorate ornaments, get your face painted, and visit our amazing vendors for family-friendly fun.
Seasonal Treats – Enjoy warm hot chocolate from Shelee's Station and, for adults, a cozy festive cocktail lounge (21+ only) provided by Dave and Buster's.
Spark of Love Toy Drive – We’re honored to partner with the Riverside County Fire Department for the third year now on their Annual Spark of Love toy drive. We encourage everyone to bring an unopened toy for children of all ages, from newborns to teens, to help make this season special for families in need. For every toy donated you will be entered to win gift cards to some of the great businesses at The River!
This is a free event for the entire community, and we’d love for you to join us as we light up the night and kick off the holidays at The River. It’s a perfect opportunity to capture the excitement and joy of the season while supporting a wonderful cause.
