Can you tell the difference between a sweetgum and a maple? Have you ever seen an umbrella magnolia or a Katsura tree? Come learn to identify trees and see some unusual ones in the perfect setting here at the Hartman Arboretum! This hike around our tree collection will be led by Paul Bouseman, Deputy Director of the Evansville Department of Parks and Recreation. He will teach tree identification looking at leaves, bark, growth, and more, with a wide variety of examples. This educational event is free and open to the public!
