About this Event
On this walk you will learn how to identify several native and invasive trees near the Etobicoke creek plus fun facts about those trees along the way. The tour will last approximately one hour and is open to all ages!
About Sylvia Jorge
Sylvia Jorge is a recent graduate of the Masters of Forest Conservation program at the University of Toronto. While there her focus was on all aspects regarding urban forestry. Engaging and educating the public on trees and nature is a passion of hers and has led to her current role as Tree Stewardship Lead for the Long Branch Neighbourhood Association. In her spare time Sylvia enjoys hiking, cycling and anything that will keep her active.
