Tree House Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities of caregivers to protect, nurture, and support new solutions so no cat suffers. In 2021, we celebrate 50 years of revolutionizing life for the cats who share our community—and beyond.
About Cat WalkFeaturing brew stops in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood, Cat Walk celebrates our cat-lovin' community.
This pub walk on Saturday, August 21 benefits Tree House Humane Society and has had a sold-out crowd! Explore local brews and libations by walking between neighborhood breweries and pubs in Ravenswood. At each stop on the Cat Walk, attendees enjoy special activities that are, of course, cat-centric and at one of our flagship stops--Empirical Brewing--can take a swig of a brew crafted especially for Tree House’s 50th birthday.
WHEN: Saturday, August 21, 2021 from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
WHERE: Check in at Smylie Brothers Brewing for our Ravenswood Bar Crawl up and down Malt Row! Our partners this year include Empirical Brewing, Smylie, Urban Brew Labs, and K's Dugout.
WHAT'S INCLUDED: Tickets include admission to all participating stops, a free t-shirt, drink specials, giveaways, and more.
CHECK-IN: Attendees will check in at Smylie Brothers in Ravenswood, 5435 N Wolcott Ave, Chicago.
WHY: Let's raise awareness for our long-stay cats! (Walk for cats below.)
Of course, we are aware of the ongoing health situation! We look forward to being able to help you enjoy this fundraiser safely. Along with participating breweries, we are implementing safety measures in line with the City of Chicago's "Be Safe Chicago" guidance.

We will crawl rain or shine! If you cannot find your ticket, please contact Eventbrite.com directly. Must be 21 years old to participate; valid government-issued ID required. Participating venues and advertised times are subject to change. Tree House Humane Society promotes safety and urges all participants to drink responsibly. Participating venues reserve the right to refuse entry to guests who are deemed intoxicated (or otherwise unfit) upon arrival. No refunds will be given. All sales are final. If a venue is at capacity then you may have to wait or proceed to another venue. Do not be late for registration. Prices are subject to change while supplies last.
*Unfortunately, the Eventbrite system does not allow us to restrict people who are underage from buying tickets. If you are not 21 and purchase a ticket, you will not be allowed into the crawl.*
