Join us for a festive Tree Bauble Decorating Workshop at the Studio of artist , ! Get into the holiday spirit early by creating your own personalized Christmas decorations. Inspired by the use of materials used by Rod in his absract paintings.
Take a moment of calm before the festive season hits to design a set of 6 unique tree baubles for yourself or gifts. For everyone to admire.
During the workshop you will be shown a number of techniques to decorate your baubles. Including underpainting, masking, design and cutting your own stencils and gilding, the embellishment with metal foils. This seasons colours; gold, silver and copper.
You will be taken through each step of the way with expert instruction from Rod.
Time is given for drying, but this may vary. Every effort will be made for you to be able to leave with your creations. Or alternatively arrangements will be made to collect them.
During the course, we will have some delicious festive refreshments!
This in-person event will provide all the materials you need to design beautiful baubles for your tree. Bring your friends and family for a fun and creative afternoon. Let's make this holiday season extra special with unique ornaments made by you!
During the session, it’s always a calm atmosphere with a relaxing vibe: perfect for your mindfulness and relaxation.

NOTES
It is suggested you wear something suitable, that you do not mind potentially getting paint on. Bring an apron, smock, crafting shirt if you are concerned. Gloves are available.
Parking is limited onsite. You can also park at the church of St James the Great and take a short walk, or lift share.
