You’re invited to come celebrate Tree Appreciation Day with City staff! Victoria has about 150,000 trees. A quarter of them are managed by the City in parks and on boulevards, and the rest are on private property and other public lands. Fall is a great time to plant trees.
What to expect:
🍎Tree and native species planting demonstrations
🍂 Educational booths and invasive species removal demonstrations
🌳 Tree and natural area tour with City staff
Fall is a great time to plant trees. Trees play an important role in our urban environment, providing shade, habitat, improving air quality and beauty to our community.
Everyone’s welcome to this free event, no pre-registration required.
