The 2025 Tree and Rain Barrel Sale will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025. 🌳Quantities are limited and pre-order forms will close as stock is reserved. Trees are available for $5.00 to encourage proper planting and care, supporting our goal of growing a healthy, long-lasting urban canopy.
Pick-up times are:
Northern Hackberry – 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Basswood - 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Kentucky Coffee – 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
White Pine – 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Rain Barrels Only – 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
* Please note: If you are pre-ordering a tree and rain barrel(s), please arrive during your tree pickup timeslot.
Pre-Order Your Tree and/or Rain Barrel
🌲 Tree: $5.00 | Limit 1 per household.
💧 Rain Barrel: $53.10 + tax | Limit 2 per household.
Homeowners are responsible to plant, water and maintain the private tree. The tree and rain barrel sale is open to Lincoln residents only, proof of residency such as a driver’s license or recent utility bill will be required. If someone if picking up your tree or rain barrel on your behalf, they will need to provide this documentation. Orders not picked up on October 3 will not be reserved or refunded.
*Please note that purchases are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pre-orders close when trees/rain barrels are sold out, or on September 29, 2025 (whichever comes first). Pre-order only - no day-of sales or wait-list.
