The content of a Permaculture Design Course is powerfully motivating and practical and so needed in our world - you will be able to apply what you learn from Day 1.
Days and Dates:
The Course will be 12 days residential program over 4 lots of 3 day weekend residential blocks starting Friday 28 March through to July (not in April) with a minimum of 10 site visits.

Rowe Morrow: Rowe is a recognised permaculture elder from the Blue Mountains with international design experience that stretches over many continents including development assistance with communities throughout Asia. Ro's book 'The Earth Restorers Guide to Permaculture' is included with this PDC course.
John Champagne: John Champagne is a recognised permaculture elder with international design experience on many continents and particularly in Indonesia and Australia. His Permaculture Gardens in Brogo NSW is a 30 year project.
Dean Turner: Dean is a recognised permaculture elder who has taught thousands of young people as an environment educator and permaculture designer in Australia. His adult workshops with fire affected community have led to development of specialist skills in fire-wise landscape design (B Agr Sci, B Ed, Dip Permaculture, Cert1V Outdoor Rec) His involvement as a founder of The Crossing Land Camp in Bermagui is a 27 year project with his wife Annette and now their sustainable home is a 7 year project after moving from the bus house at The Crossing.
Lizzy Smith: Lizzy is a certified professional human factors ergonomist who applies theory, principals, data and methods to design in order to optimise human wellbeing and overall system performance. Lizzy is a localisation and bioregioning enthusiast, designer, Permaculture practitioner and educator. Lizzy is on a life quest for regenerative living and keeping relationships real.
Sam Hawker: Sam is the passionate human driving Garden Kitchen Witch*n weaving permaculture with many other modalities, the integrity of her ethics is always evident in cooking, teaching, holding space and living life. Sam draws upon nearly a decade spent deeply embedded in one place and now is on new adventures bringing her passion for change to many communities.
Aaron Sorenson: Aaron has changed the face of the Illawarra one school garden at a time. His exquisite and practical design work with Elemental Permaculture is recognised throughout eastern Australia.
This is a design course, not a gardening course. Specific methods (e.g. land surveying, building, composting) may be included for demonstrations or at site visits. You can get your hands dirty at times in voluntary activities.
