TRECEndurance racing in it’s simplest form!
You and your teammates are invited to race with us Friday September 20, 2024 at Autobahn Country Club, NO SPEED LIMITS ON THE AUTOBAHN, in Joliet, Illinois for a 4 hour endurance race from 2:00pm-6:00pm.
Some Details:
-Intermediate HPDE experience required. Typically, NASA HPDE3 level experience or 3 other endurance races as a minimum. Beginner drivers are not allowed.
-No Medical required, but you need to be in good enough shape to race.
-A RACE car that has passed a NASA Annual Safety Inspection for the current year.
-Simple Classes TREC1 is the fastest, TREC4 is the slowest but most popular, TRECU is unlimited.
-Podium Trophy Awards after every race!
NASA introduced its newest series, Team Racing Endurance Challenge, to create more opportunities for people to go racing — just for the fun of it. With no competition license required, TREC racing was designed to be open to everyone who wants to compete in an endurance racing format, with a simple rules set that focuses on safety and fun. Because endurance racing is a team sport, TREC allows for several drivers to share expenses, which helps make motorsports more affordable.
