You don't have to audition for our choir! Just come see what you think. We welcome you to this space where we get to express ourselves through song, advocate for peace and justice, and feed the power and healing in our communities.
Who WE are: Treble Voices for Peace is dedicated to building a shared vision of inclusion, community, peace and justice through the power of song. It is an all ages, community chorus performing music primarily composed by and for women and LBGTQAI2S+ folks. All voices who sing in the treble range (soprano, alto, contralto) are invited to join.
We strive to create a welcoming and safe space for women and LBGTQAI2S+ folks from all backgrounds and levels of musical knowledge. We believe in the transformational power of song to create inspiration, heal trauma, bridge divides, and bring attention to
issues that affect the gender-marginalized community.
Our motto is “Quality Through Inclusion.” There are no auditions to become a member. Singing both simple and complex pieces, we work to achieve a high performance standard connected to our open and affirming membership. We spend time building our relationships, and balance the joy of play and adventure with hard work, to create something bigger than ourselves.
Treble Voices endeavors to open minds and hearts through our music, performances, and presence in our communities. We look to partner with other community groups, such as schools, libraries, nursing homes, women’s shelters, and other arts organizations.
