This two-day EMDR Training Workshop offers mental health professionals a practical, hands-on introduction to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—one of the most effective evidence-based approaches for treating trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences.
Designed to bridge theory and practice, the training moves beyond conceptual overviews to focus on how EMDR is applied in real clinical settings. Participants will learn how to guide trauma processing in a way that is structured, contained, and ethically sound, with careful attention to client readiness, safety, and professional responsibility.
Through guided instruction, live demonstrations, and supervised practice, attendees will develop a working understanding of EMDR’s eight-phase protocol, including assessment, desensitization, installation, and closure. The role of bilateral stimulation is explained clearly and applied systematically to help clients reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories—without unnecessary re-traumatization.
This workshop is particularly valuable for clinicians seeking to strengthen trauma-informed practice while remaining mindful of clinical, ethical, and legal considerations, including work with complex or high-risk populations.
