Mrs. Hawkins and her son Jim run the Admiral Benbow Inn where Captain Billy Bones comes to stay, hiding from a “seafarin’ man with one leg.” When pirates attack and leave Billy for dead, Mrs. Hawkins and Jim rummage through Billy’s treasure looking for money to cover the debts that he owed to her and a strange treasure map. With the help of Dr. Livesey and Squire Trelawny Jim and the two men acquire a ship and crew to set sail immediately. What follows is a grand adventure filled with vile pirates, daring sailors, and an adventure that builds to a crescendo with a volley of skirmishes, desertions, truces, deceptions, bargains, and a fight for the hidden treasure! But only one side can win and find the hidden treasure. Which will it be?
