The Agri-Science Showcase and Fall Fest features opportunities to learn about the science conducted at the Indian River Research and Education Center tour laboratories at the Center purchase plants from the St. Lucie County Master Gardeners attend educational workshops and visit vendors that are focused on sustainability locally sourced goods and community partnerships
In 2023 we had over 1000 attendees! Attendees enjoyed educational workshops and 24 vendors. Educational workshops were presented on an assortment of topics such as air layering propagation and growing Florida sea vegetables. All workshops are led by professors scientists and UF/IFAS Agents so it is an amazing opportunity for attendees to get hands-on instruction from experts in the field. This year we will also be presenting a petting zoo crafts for the kids and the Master Gardener Volunteer Plant nursery will be open to raise money for our scholarship programming.
