🔺 FACTS ABOUT FLAMINGOES:
* Greater and Lesser flamingos fly in to Mumbai every winter from Kutch, Gujarat and Sambar Lake, Rajasthan. They are also known to come from other countries such as Pakistan,Afghanistan and Iran.
* There are six distinct species of flamingo, but it takes a trained eye to distinguish them. Adult flamingos are four to five feet tall, but only weigh between four and eight pounds. That’s the kind of astonishing body density (or lack of) needed for flight.
* Flamingos tend to congregate in mudflats or lagoons, where they can find shallow saltwater prey. These habitats are also difficult for predators to negotiate.
* The color pink comes from beta-carotene in the crustaceans and plankton that flamingos eat. Zoo flamingos will turn white if their diet is not supplemented with live shrimp or flamingo chow containing carotenoid pigments.
* The feathers under their wings (flight feathers) are black. You only see them when the birds are flying.
🔺 RIDE GUIDE:
A First of its kind ferry service in Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Come aboard our boat and you will be transported to an entirely unique and mesmerising boating and bird watching experience. Watching Flamingos in their natural habitat is an enchanting treat for the eyes. You might be luckier and may even stand a chance to witness the famous flamingo dance. Enjoy your 60 minutes of joyride.
🔺 Instructions for Passengers:
* All passengers to reach 20 minutes before the scheduled boat ride. Late entry will neither be entertained nor refunded.
* Once you collect your ticket from our ticket counter our crew members will get you seated in the boat. They will ensure that you wear the safety life jackets correctly and will give you some basic instructions while sailing. Kindly do not stand or move in the boat while sailing as this might imbalance the boat.
* The boat takes you closer to the flamingos, do not make noise as this will disturb the birds.
* Every passenger will have to sign a self declaration form.
* All passengers including kids will be required to wear safety jackets.
* Only water is allowed with the passenger in the boat.
* Consuming food in the boat is strictly prohibited.

Meeting place: Airoli Creek/ Belapur Jetty, Belapur
Please reach 15min before time at meeting point.
**Will update you final reporting time one day before the event.
Note: Seats are limited … Maximum 15 seats And Registrations through phone calls with ₹500 advance payment which will be non refundable.

🔺 Things to carry:
* ID proof (must)
* Face Mask (must)
* Hand Sanitizer (must)
* Min. 2 liters water per head
* Ready to eat food (biscuits, plum cake, chips etc.)
* Rainywear (optional) avoid umbrella
* Only Dull colour cloths
* Sun glasses, Sun Crean lotion, Cap or Hat
* Energy drink (ex. Glucon D)
* A haversack to put in all the things to be carried. (Please do not bring suitcases or sling bags/ jholas)
* Personal basic medical kit (Containing an antiseptic, few bandages, personal medications if any, Antibiotics for stomach infection)
* Camera/ Binoculars (optional)
* Please try to wear track pants and a full sleeve t-shirt (optional)
* Please avoid wearing Gold and other ornaments
***Notes: Please keep in mind that we shall change our policies and procedures based on Government regulations in future. As you know, there can be last-minute announcements and we will have to follow them. However, we shall try to abide by the Government rules keeping in mind the welfare of our trekkers.
▪️ RULES & REGULATIONS:
* Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited at the time of event
* No plastic littering
* Wear full sleeves, full tracksuit to avoid mosquito bite or leeches
* Proper footwear/ shoes are essential
* Conserve and preserve our heritage
* Photographs taken during the activity which can be used for publicity purposes
* Each member will be responsible for his/her own safety, Jewellery, Cash and baggage
🔺 Terms & Conditions:
* We reserves all right to change/deviate/cancel the plans without any prior notice
* No Extra adventure/out of itinerary behavior during trek
* Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding
* TraWell Amigos will not be responsible for injury / accident / death of the participants
* Any damage to the property will be chargeable
* 50% refund in case if you cancel the plan and inform us 7 days before the event day
* No refund if the cancellation request is less than 4 days
* No Show No Refund
* Bookings cannot be transferred to another date nor it will be transferred to another person against cancellation
