INTRODUCING: Travis Elementary First Grade University!As a parent, do you ever feel like you don't know what your child is doing in their classroom during the day? Or even worse, you feel like an "old person" because your child is showing you some "new age" way of learning how to read or add and subtract? Wanna know a secret?
Basically everyone feels that way.
That's precisely why we are so excited to host our first annual Travis Elementary First Grade University event!
When you attend First Grade University, you, the parent/guardian of your first grade student, will have the opportunity to hear directly from our campus leadership as well as receive face to face time with your child's teacher gaining more understanding of what it is that your child is learning and how we can all work together to help your child find academic success! When you leave this event, you will walk away physically holding information specific to your child's academic needs and ways to support your child's learning at home.
This event will be held on Thursday, September 25th. We are offering two IDENTICAL sessions (no need to attend both) from 4PM-5PM and 5PM-6PM. Oh! And I should also mention... Every first grade student that has a family member attend will receive a HUGE surprise involving Mrs. Darby and Mrs. Adamcik! Trust me, your kiddo does NOT want to miss out on this!

The feedback from this survey will directly impact your family's individual experience as well as our school community as a whole. Rest assured that every answer given will be reviewed and discussed as we continue to strive to serve our Cubs, and their families, with intentionality, beyond what you would expect, and to the deepest level of care we can.
While this specific event and survey is for 1st grade families only, please don't worry! We will have something similar for our 2nd and 3rd grade families coming soon. As always, stay tuned!
