Spiritual wayfaring’s mainstay is courtesy and adab. Different levels of adab with people, with the self, with family and with the environment stem from adab with Allah and His Messenger.
Without this adab, one cannot develop spiritually or socially. In a spiritual path, a seeker learns patience, forgiveness, good opinion, gentleness, reflection in the same way as they learn dhikr of Allah.
Without mentorship and without company, there is no adab and without adab, no mentorship or company can avail.
This talk touches upon the centrality of adab and some of the ādāb a seeker needs for a fruitful and impactful spiritual transformation.
