Does your child like to draw? Then this 4-hour workshop will be perfect for them!Throughout the course of the day, the children will be working on 5 drawing projects based on these different eras in history:
· Pre-history – Stone Age - Handprint drawings like Cavemen.
· Classical Era –Ancient Civilizations – Self Portrait as a Pharoah, Roman or Greek.
· Middle Ages- Medieval – Illuminated Scripts (Name Art Project).
· Early Modern – Renaissance, Impressionism, Expressionism – Da Vinci, Van Gogh or Monet – e.g. Self Portrait in the style of Van Gogh
· Modern Era – Post WW1 – Pop Art Portrait.
To personalize the projects for your child, I would require that the participants send a clear headshot photograph from the front (face straight on) and the side (profile) in advance.
As it is over a lunchtime, your child will required to bring a packed lunch.
Tickets for this 4-hour workshop are £28. It will be suitable for children in P1-7.
