This PechaKucha-style lecture features five local urban sketchers who traveled the world this past summer and documented their trips in sketchbooks!
Speakers will be talking about their experiences and sketches drawn in countries and cities around the world.
Meet the local urban sketchers team and follow their summer travel journeys, all documented in sketch-reportage style. They will talk about bringing your sketchbook on vacation and capturing moments that will etch themselves in your memory forever.
When joining our Saturday, November 1st Event, you will have the opportunity to review the current large-scale Urban Sketchers Exhibit at the SOBO Art Gallery Studio, (before it gets down) featuring ten local urban sketchers and their sketchbooks from their travels in countries such as France, Poland, Berlin, Amazonia, Chicago, Amsterdam, and Portugal.
Immediately after the lecture, there will be a short sketchwalk in downtown Winter Garden, so bring your sketchbook and pen to sketch along!
