Travel Trio is a formation of stellar musicians who circle the globe sharing their gifts. Saxophonist and educator Tommy Rye is a native of Riga, Latvia and recently won the Latvian "Best Jazz Album of the Year", an award for which he has routinely been nominated in years past. Alex Adamn is a powerhouse behind the drums, living in Helsinki, Finland for 6 years after growing up in his native Rome, Italy. He is a 'top call' for American jazz musicians touring in Europe such as Benito Gonzalez, Mark Gross, Joel Holmes, and many more. Rob Duguay is a longtime Ridgewood, NY resident and has performed as a bandleader in nearly 20 countries. At Dada, this special reunion of Duguay's preferred European based trio will perform original compositions by Duguay as well as tributes to heroes and their 'not-so-standard' compositions. A celebration of love, life and the arts are sure to ensue in one of their most beloved performance venues, Dada Bar.
