In this powerful night of travailing prayer, we’ll come together to pray with intensity and purpose, moving beyond words and into the depths of our hearts. Inspired by the words of James Aladiran
—“How can you expect God to be moved by your prayers if you are not moved by them?”—we will intercede with the kind of passion and longing that births transformation.
Travailing prayer is not passive. It’s active. It’s intentional. It’s a prayer that comes from the very core of who we are, and it’s a prayer that moves the heart of God. Just as Paul wrote in Galatians 4:19, we stand in the gap, "in the pains of childbirth" for the generations to come, crying out for revival, salvation, and transformation in Perth and beyond.
This night, we will pray for:
The city of Perth – that it may experience revival and a great awakening.
The emerging generations – Gen Z and Gen Alpha, that they may rise with the fire of God’s purpose.
Our children and youth – that they may know the hope, love, and power of Jesus Christ.
Travailing prayer is not easy—it is often a painful, gut-wrenching cry for change—but it is always powerful, and it always moves the heart of God. As we labor in prayer, we will not only see change in our hearts but believe for transformation in our city.
Come prepared to pray with urgency, to feel deeply, and to stand in the gap for those who need God’s intervention most. Let us be a people who pray for Perth as if its future depended on it—because it does.
