Whether you're a yoga practitioner, teacher, dance or movement facilitator, work in the community or as a leader, this 4-day training will give you the tools and insight to:
- Recognise trauma and its symptoms in yourself and others
- Recognise when extra care, sensitivity, and support are needed for others experiencing trauma
- Feel both mentally and emotionally empowered to manage and support yourself and others
- Plan and deliver a trauma-sensitive yoga routine for isolated or integrated practice
- Incorporate trauma-sensitive practices into your everyday routine for personal self-care
As well as being a Senior Yoga Teacher, Nicolette Wilson Clarke is a Fellow Member of the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists & Hypnotherapists (FACCPH), she is also a mental health advocate, wellbeing lecturer & facilitator, local radio broadcaster/producer, voice-over artist, blogger, podcaster, trained dancer, Pilates teacher and an Advisory Board Member of the Freedom Foundation.
This course qualifies as 40 hrs CPD with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
