Trauma Sensitive, Accessible and Adaptive Yoga classes. These sessions are for anyone:
� who has experienced trauma, grief and loss
� are feeling anxious, stressed or overwhelmed
� wanting time to reconnect or deepen their connection with their body
� new to yoga, always wanted to try but thought you couldn't 'do it'
My classes are down-to-earth and deeply nourishing
They include grounding practices, gentle warm ups for the joints, mindful slow flowing movements and postures, breathing techniques, guided meditation and relaxation. Each week we will explore a different pranayama practice and different guided meditations such as Yoga Nidra and somatic experiencing
These yoga sessions are all trauma sensitive, empowering you to develop your own practice within the sessions. You are the expert on your body.
Practice is more about how it feels in your body rather than how it looks. Asana is not sacred. This is yoga for YOUR body �
We use plenty of props; chairs, mats, blankets, blocks and cushions.
You can choose to practice on your mat or chair or change between the two.
