Release, Restore, and Rebalance
This 2-hour workshop offers a safe and supportive space to explore somatic practices that help you release deep-seated tension and trauma stored in the body. This class will guide you through gentle movements designed to calm the nervous system, discharge stress, and promote emotional regulation.
We will begin with 1 hour and 15 minutes of yoga and movement, incorporating a variety of trauma-release exercises that target specific muscles, especially those that contract in response to stress and fear.
This practice helps reset the body’s natural ability to return to a state of calm, alleviating the physical effects of trauma held in the nervous system.
Following the movement session, we’ll spend 45 minutes discussing the stress response, how trauma influences the brain and body, and how it shapes emotions and behaviors. You’ll receive a handout with key takeaways, practical techniques, and coping tools to help you manage trauma responses in daily life.
