Step into a space of deep healing and rejuvenation with TRE & Yoga Nidra, a donation-based community offering at Upward Light Healing & Yoga in Mesa, AZ. This two-hour experience combines body-based release and meditative rest to help you reset from the inside out.
TRE – Release, Restore, Rejuvenate
Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE) are a self-help method designed to activate your body’s natural recovery process. Through a series of seven simple movements accessible to all body types, TRE helps release built-up stress, anxiety, and emotional tension. Many participants notice improved sleep, lighter mood, and a greater sense of ease and resilience.
Yoga Nidra – Deep Rest for Mind and Spirit
Following TRE, you’ll be guided through Yoga Nidra, a meditative practice that invites you into the space between wakefulness and sleep. This profoundly restorative state supports nervous system regulation and emotional healing while easing burnout, fatigue, and chronic stress.
What to Bring
Wear comfortable clothing, bring water and a journal, and come with an open heart. Mats and blankets are provided.

In the spirit of giving, The Medicine Way is gathering new and unused art materials to support Native American children in need throughout the Phoenix area. This effort is made possible in partnership with the Phoenix Indian Center. Donations such as coloring books, colored pencils, markers, paints, brushes, sketch pads, and so on are deeply appreciated and help spark creativity, joy, and healing through art during the holiday season. Bring them to any Medicine Way event through 12/10/25.
