Who Should Attend: If you answer yes to the following, TIPP Certification is for you.
- Do you work with or fund programs that support youth, families, and/or communities?
- Would you like to connect with others committed to normalizing safe, equitable, and respectful environments?
- Are you interested in learning concrete strategies to address and prevent harms in childhood, systemic violence including bullying/harassment racism, and rape culture?
TIPP CERTIFICATION: Below is an agenda for the TIPP Training. Expect prizes, learning from youth and each other, sharing resources, and remaining connected in a way that works best for you. (Please bring any resources or training opportunities you would like to share with the group.)

TIPP GOALS:
1. To redirect resources spent on crisis intervention by investing in the health and well-being of youth, families, schools, workplaces, governments, and communities.
2. To modify societal norms, practices, and policies to ensure Safe, Equitable, and Respectful (SER) environments.
3. To address and prevent with honesty, empathy, and kindness, the root causes and impact of historical and current trauma: Oppression, Silence/Denial and Normalized Harm (OSN). These harms include child abuse and neglect, Systemic Violence including bullying/harassment, racism, and rape culuture, and colinization.
4. To cultivate SER to end OSN through demonstrating the Guts to Be Good (G2BG): The guts to be respectful, the guts to lend a hand, the guts to be courteous, the guts to be honest, and the guts to speak up.
5. To normalize self-care, sharing, and using community resources.
6. To ensure strategies are evidence-informed, youth-led, developed by and for the community, and identity and ability inclusive.
7. To operationalize shared protective factors to reduce and prevent shared risk factors connected to the Social Determinants of Health across all levels of the Social Ecological Model (SEM): individual, relationship, community, and societal.
