We are delighted to be welcoming Anna Kharaz back to Satyam, after many years, to share her skill and knowledge around the very important topic of Trauma Informed Practice.
Please join us for this 6 hour workshop introducing the nuances of trauma-informed care. Intended for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of trauma, our content will use an interdisciplinary approach to support attendees in better serving their client population, within their unique scope of practice. Our topics will include:
~ Trauma and Embodiment
~ Attachment Theory, Relationships and Power Dynamics
~ Neurobiology of Trauma and what to do about it
~ Compassion fatigue and building a sustainable career

This workshop is best suited for movement instructors, clinicians, social workers, nurses, physicians, body workers, educators, etc.
Standard Price: £120 with concession tiers available.

About Anna Kharaz
Anna is a licensed therapist and certified trauma sensitive yoga facilitator. In addition to seeing clients for therapy and yoga, she serves as an adjunct faculty member and supervisor for the Center for Trauma and Embodiment at the Justice Resource Institute in Massachusetts, USA. Anna has experience working with a culturally and clinically diverse population of children, adolescents, adults and families in domestic and international settings and has worked for research institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Boston Medical Center, The Trauma Center, National Institutes of Health, and the Veterans Administrations Hospital. Her approach to therapy, yoga and education draws from a background in neuroscience, continued education in mental health and psychology, and a lifelong commitment to better understanding human suffering, health and healing.
