This training is for any yoga teacher who is ready to take the next steps to teach from a lense of awareness of the impacts of trauma and how yoga can be a part of the healing process. This training will incorporate ancient yoga and modern understandings of trauma and healing. You will walk away with an understanding of what trauma is, different kinds of trauma, principles of being a trauma aware teacher, and how to confidently apply this to your offerings (including asana, breath work, meditation, and mindfulness) as a teacher. The weekend training will include learning through lecture, discussion, self-reflection, activities, and time for practice and application.
15 hours (6-9pm on 1/16, 12-6pm on 1/17, 12-6pm on 1/18)
Requirements: Must have completed a 200+ hour YTT program
