About this Event
The Children's Mental Health Initiative is inviting you and your colleagues to learn about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they can drastically impact the lives of the people you serve in our community. Our goal is to help you continue down the path of being a trauma-inforced organization by raising awareness of the potentially life-long impact of childhood trauma.
The Children's Mental Health Initiative is inviting you and your colleagues to continue your Trauma-Informed Care journey by providing De-Escalation Training for you and your colleagues. Our goal is to help you and your day-to-day duties when it comes to de-escalating students who are in crisis. We provide tools that will assist in the use of purposeful actions and verbal communication. Your safety and the safety of others are the highest priorities.
