Join us for a Weekend of Workshops in May! Trapeze - Friday 3rd - 6-8pm
Hammock - Saturday 4th - 12:30-2:30pm
Duo (Lyra/Trap/Silks) - Saturday 4th - 2:30-4:30pm
All workshops - Adults (13 yrs above)
Trapeze
Covering a variety of dance trapeze sequences as well as some dynamic drops. Must be level 2 (blue) or above.
Hammock (Sling)
This workshop is an all level course designed with a variety of both simple sequenced and dynamic and challenging drops. Should be level 2 (blue) & above, or at the end of level 1 (purple).
Duo (Lyra/Trap/Silks)
Jess and Molly have been working together in both aerials & acro for 2 years. Performing both within the community and competition.
They have moves on lyra, trapeze & silks and will cater the class to students preference in the class.
Should be level 2 (blue) & above, or at the end of level 1 (purple).

About the Instructors:
Jess:
Jess is a skilled aerial coach with a strong knowledge in aerial sling/hammock, silks, trapeze and duo aerials, as well as contortion and acro-balancing. She has a creative and open mind to teaching, enjoying finding new ways to engage children and teens of all levels and abilities. She loves combining unique movements to create death defying drops. She is also a skilled stilt walker and roaming performer.
She has performed and entertained the community at local shows and events, including ‘Le Carnivale’ cabaret, Newcastle Pride by Night and Newcastle Pride Picnic. She has coached a number of workshops at Glow Festival 2023 and Lost Paradise Festival 2023.
She is NSW champion on aerial sling, winning the Under 17s Open Apparatus section at Bend the Air NSW Regionals in 2023.
Molly:
Molly has been doing circus for 6 years. She particularly enjoys trapeze, and the feeling of accomplishing new exciting tricks! She has performed in Newcastle and on the Central Coast on trapeze, aerial sling, and duo lyra.
She has been coaching with Three Rings for 2 years. She is calm, creative and incredibly knowledgeable in her approach to teaching children, teens and adults aerial and Acro balance skills.
