A Magical Festive Adventure in Transylvania
Embark on a festive journey through Transylvania, exploring Romania’s picturesque medieval towns and their enchanting Christmas markets, topped off with a visit to Dracula’s Castle.
After a night in the vibrant capital, Bucharest, you’ll be whisked away into the heart of rural Romania. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Transylvanian countryside and visit the opulent Peles Castle. In Brasov, wander the charming cobbled streets, explore the Christmas market, and warm up in cosy bohemian cafes. Take an informative walking tour to see the grand Black Church and the narrowest street in Europe.
Travel through the Carpathian foothills to the fairy tale town of Sibiu, the 2007 European Capital of Culture. Here, you can enjoy mulled wine at the Christmas market or skate on the central square’s ice rink. The adventure concludes with a trip back to Bucharest, stopping at the eerie Bran Castle, famously linked to Dracula.
