D—Arts, in cooperation with Tanzquartier Wien, Brunnenpassage, and the Trans Europe Halles network in the frame of the Cultural Transformation Movement project, invites you to a two-day gathering and collective reflection.
With Translocal Alliances, we gather artists, activists, and cultural workers to share practices of resistance, care, and transformation. Together we will explore strategies of solidarity: strengthening local connection while joining across regions and movements in order to amplify voices, build collective power, and push for a more just and equitable cultural sector.

Day 1
Fri, 07.11, 5 - 10 pm, Tanzquartier Wien
The first day of Translocal Alliances opens with an afternoon dedicated to connection, care, and artistic exchange. From interactive formats to collective reflection, a panel with international guests, and a live concert, the program invites participants to rest, listen, and imagine strategies for transformation together.
5–7 pm Open Space for Connection, Rest, Listening& Transformation
Visitors are invited into an informal atmosphere where rest is resistance. Interactive stations will explore creative tools for collective reflection:
• Analogue Memes Creative Station with Anahita Neghabat invites to explore multiplicity of perspectives on translocal alliances
• Vinyl Session with Susana Ojeda, shaping the mood through sound
• Collective Listening Exercise with Graziele Sena da Silva, tuning into each other and into the space
• The program also includes the enjoyment of tasty food and imaginative cocktails.
7–9 pm Panel: Practical Knowledge, Mutual Connectivity – Translocal Alliances
Local and international guests reflect on how alliances can transform institutions and practices to create more equitable cultural structures. What can we learn from one another—locally and globally—that may nurture transformation within cultural institutions and cultural practices?

Day 2
Sat, 08.11, 10 am - 3 pm, Brunnenpassage
Community Brunch centering artists and activists affected by discrimination, followed by a workshop with Sonya Lindfors (UrbanApa, Helsinki).
