Fiona Sweeney, Senior Director of Marketing, Kerry

Fiona Sweeney is Senior Director of Marketing & Europe Marketing Lead for Kerry Taste & Nutrition in Europe with responsibility for Marketing strategy & execution and the Marketing team for the region.

Fiona has spent over 22 years’ working in the Food & Beverage Industry, spanning across FMCG, Retail & B2B working on renowned brands such as Guinness, Smirnoff, Coca Cola and Superquinn, winning several marketing, innovation and advertising excellence awards.

Prior to her current role, Fiona was Marketing Director for the Kerry Foods Dairy Consumer Branded portfolio in GB and Ireland where she was responsible for the strategic growth and development of category leading brands like Dairygold, Cheestrings, LowLow and Charleville.

Fiona is also a member of the Board of the Marketing Institute of Ireland since 2019 and a co-opted member of the IRFU Commercial & Marketing Committee since 2018.


Meredith Smith, Director, Futures & Innovation EMEA, Kantar

With 20 years of experience, Meredith specialises in strategic foresight to help brands across sectors evolve to outpace their competition and shape a more prosperous future. She holds a Masters of Innovation Management from Central Saint Martins, and has held lead roles at The Future Laboratory, GDR Creative Intelligence, Flux[x], an innovation studio and now at Kantar’s Consulting division. Meredith runs the Strategic Futures practice for Kantar EMEA, based in London, UK.

Meredith has championed the use of strategic foresight and consumer insight for the likes of Mondelez, Diageo, Pernod Ricard, LVMH, Nestlé, Mars, PepsiCo, McDonald’s, L’Oréal, Chanel, Condé Nast, The North Face, Vans, Meta [Facebook] and Google.
