About this Event
Join us for this farm walk and discussion at Droke Farm, hosted by John Holt. We'll start the day with tea and coffee and then head off to see the farm system and hear from John about how they manage it.
Droke Farm is a mixed enteprise with dairy cattle, sheep and arable. Over the last 7 years the farm has been transitioning from a conventional dairy to a circular, organic system. It has been fully organic for 5 years now. The farm has a mixture of improved and herbal leys, and permanent chalk grassland with a mix of grazing practices to suit different stock classes at different times of the year.
Come and hear about the farm's journey thus far, and its plans for the future.
