"THE" place to start wogging/jogging further than you ever imagined, for local events in Rotorua this coming Summer. FREE COACHING. Slowbies welcome if you can do parkrun/5km in 50mins.
Achieve your first Road or Trail events with us.
Or merely get a head start on next year’s Rotorua Marathon clinic
Can’t do 5km walking yet? Start the free parkrun every Sat morning NOW!
And YES you can get to 10km by Feb!
WHERE TO START?
1 – Wednesdays 6pm: 60-70mins from beginning Longmile Rd (first carpark)
2 – Sundays 7:30am from various locations per program
3 – Options for other bootcamps/gym/triathlon sessions that are cheap or free
Slower walkers join the lovely Freedom Walkers program.
Children 10yrs+ are welcome to all 1hr sessions with a guardian.

-> Free preloved shoes
-> Learn to jog comfortably & safely
-> Technique for geting up and down hills and muddy trails
-> NO ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND. EVER.
-> Fits in with YOUR busy lifestyle – only 2 days per week.
WALKERS: Yes, both the Taupo Ultra and the Tarawera events are one of very few ultra distances that are extremely generous with cutoff times for walkers & woggers. They have very achievable 12-16mins/km pace - simply put, your distance training is far more important than any 'speed' goals for completing this event!
RUNNING/WALKING EVENTS WE ARE AIMING FOR:
1. 10km or Half Marathon Rotorua Running Festival
2. Taupo Ultra 24km or 50km
3. Tarawera 20km, 50km, or 100km in Feb
4. the 'long run' for your 1/4 or 1/2 ironman
5. Rotorua marathon and events in May
