Transit Equity Day 2026 is intentionally designed to be fully accessible, with ASL interpretation, ADA-compliant seating, and accessible materials available throughout the event. Volunteers will be on site to assist participants and ensure accommodations are honored.
The event is open to transit riders, community members, advocates, and partners who share an interest in building a more equitable and accessible transit system for Memphis.
Better Transit for a Better Memphis is a coalition of community groups including the Disability Connection of the Midsouth, MICAH (Memphis Coalition for Access and Hope), and Sierra Club.

Please message Better Transit for a Better Memphis if you'd like to volunteer!
