OutFit Inc. and Integrative Psychological Services are proud to announce their partnership to bring a Transgender Day of Visibility celebration to Paducah! π³οΈββ§οΈJoin us Monday, March 31st, on Transgender Day of Visibility, at Maiden Alley Cinema for a mini resource fair and a screening of the documentary film π·ππ ππππ π’ππ (NR).
At 6:00 PM the doors will open to community members for a mini resource fair. Joining us will be teams from Integrative Psychological Services (mental healthcare), Meraki House of Style (personal care), F.A.C.E. Makeup Artistry (personal care), and LivWell Community Health Services (healthcare). Vendors present will be able to share information about the services, care and products they offer to clients.
At 7:00 PM, we will begin the screening of the documentary film π·ππ ππππ π’ππ, which discusses depictions of the transgender community in film and television. The film is an unprecedented, eye-opening look at how Hollywood simultaneously reflects and manufactures our deepest anxieties about gender. *Please note the film is not rated and may not be considered appropriate for younger audiences. Attendees under the age of 18 are recommended to be accompanied by a guardian.
This event is FREE to the community, however donations are encouraged and concessions will be available for purchase.
