A vigil ceremony for those who lost their lives due to Transphobic attacks, suicide, lack of medical care and general loss of life due to the lack of understanding of being Trans or Gender diverse. We aim to start the service for 7:15pm, but come before hand to gather, receive a candle and flag if you wish to, otherwise we encourage you to bring your own, the face of someone you lost this is the space for that.
In the time of our speech, welcomes, thank you's and what this event is about, candles should be lit and we will do a 2 min silence in remembrance for those lives lost, those under threat and the hope and resilience to continue towards a more understood, better access to care and educational future for people who are Trans, Non binary or in anyway Gender Diverse.
Once this is over we can place the candles around the flower plot and either continue our discussions of this topic there or continue on to Winsor coffee shop, and thank you for everyone involved.
If you wish to donate, we will have a bucket on the day, we are a community lead organisers from the community, we are not any governing body, or charity yet, so all the processed will go towards future events.
