About this Event
On Thursday, November 20th, a Transgender Day of Remembrance candlelight vigil will be held on the Quad to remember those who were lost to anti-transgender violence, while highlighting the significant increase in hate violence against trans people, especially those of color.
6pm - Meetup at the flagpole behind Jefferson Hall and distribute candles
6:15pm - Opening Remarks before walking across the Quad to the fountain near the library
6:30pm - Reading of the names
6:45pm - Closing Remarks
Free transgender Pride ribbons will be provided.
