Aldersgate UMC will be hosting a Transgender Day of Remembrance Candlelight service on Thursday, November 20th at 7:oo PM. This event will be mostly informal and led by our Children, Youth, and Families Director, Cole McKnight (He/They), to honor those in the community who have passed, but also for our trans siblings to draw strength from those who came before us, especially in this current climate. If you have a name you would like to share, there will be a part where you can share that name and light a candle in honor of them. This event is free and open to all looking for a place to remember and celebrate the lives of the transgender siblings we have lost.Please contact the office for more information.
