  • With immense pleasure, we cordially invite you to our 1st Annual Trauma Training Conference. A conference scheduled to be held on Saturday, August 26th, 2023, from 12:00-4:00 PM at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, located at 701 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
  • The Conference provides an in-depth collaborative and enriched engaging experience for community members and providers, educators, and leaders across health, education, and social service disciplines. By highlighting innovative practices and research, the conference aims to develop and enhance trauma responsive and social-justice informed competencies to promote the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children, families, and communities. Focus on culture-centered community collaborations designed to address issues rooted in systemic oppression, such as transgenerational trauma and traumatic stress.
  • We are excited that Cleous “GloWry” Young, Author of The Airport Adventure, former Behavioral Therapist, CEO of the TEB-IT Foundation will once again be the Keynote Presenter. The conference will be moderated by Maurine McFarlane, Author, Entrepreneur, humanitarian, and host of Maurine’s Kitchen Table Talk on the (Favvor Zone Radio Broadcast on 105.3FM & 97.3FM NY).

  • The conference is spearheaded by The TEB-IT Foundation, which is a grassroot nonprofit 501 (C) 3 organization that uses aviation principles, procedures, and strategies to innovatively aviate the mindset within Bullying, Trauma, & Depression (BTD). We also provide different healing modalities through courses, classes, books, events, music, action-oriented T-shirt, and other effective means of a solution-oriented process. Prior debuts of such Trauma Conference has provided solid proof and evidence-based results that this type of aviated innovative approach is needed today to help address the deficits, inadequacies, and insufficiencies within the vulnerable populations of our children, families, and communities.
